City Roots Nursery is a native plant nursery primarily focused on growing and selling plants native to North and Western Missouri and Eastern Kansas. Due to popular demand we do grow and sell species native to the Missouri Ozarks as well.

Plant Community sells native plants grown from locally adapted seeds. We source our seed from the Northeast Seed Collective, the Rhode Island Wild Plant Society, and other responsible purveyors of ecotypic seed. Plants can be ordered online and picked up in person in East Greenwich.

Piney Island Native Plants mission is to increase the supply and availability of native plants for establishment into Wyoming landscapes. They are passionate about preserving native plant biodiversity, providing habitat for important pollinators and wildlife, and increasing the quality and value of our lands for generations to come.

Catherine Smith opened Redbud Native Plant Nursery in 2002 to positively impact her regional environment, knowing that native plants support biodiversity of our local ecosystems. After seventeen years, Catherine passed the trowel to Julie Snell and Lisa McDonald Hanes in 2020, knowing they would be good stewards to continue Redbud’s purpose. The nursery continues to provide diverse stock at a physical location where customers can see, touch and smell native plants in person and interact with knowledgeable staff.

Possibility Place Nursery was founded in 1983 and currently grows nearly 400 species of trees, shrubs, perennials and grasses. They grow only straight species that are native to the Eastern United States, primarily those native to the Midwest region. Possibility Place doesn't use miticides, fungicides or insecticides. They grow native plants to help communities and individuals increase biodiversity and improve ecological function of their natural spaces, from vast wild areas to small back yards.

Goldfinch Native Plant Nursery is a 100% native plant nursery located in Southwest Indiana (Evansville). Our inventory consists entirely of species native to this region of the Midwest, with an emphasis on plant stock that has been grown from local genotype seed sources (Indiana and Midwest). Blooming Prairie Nursery began in 1997 in founder Bob Wubben’s backyard. Prior to that, he had been involved in Iowa native prairie restoration since the mid-1990s while employed by the Iowa Department of Transportation as the Roadside Vegetation Manager for five counties in northern Iowa. Everything that comes from Blooming Prairie Nursery is indigenous and native to Iowa in all aspects; from the soil and compost to the seed, flowers, and grasses, it all comes from our natural Iowa ecosystem.
