Wild Roots Native Nursery

Wild Roots Native Nursery
Wild Roots Native Nursery is a plant nursery in the Atlanta, Georgia area specializing in locally sourced native plant species. Founded by educators and conservationists Trecia Neal and Stephanie Spencer, it promotes biodiversity and sustainable landscaping through the cultivation of ecologically significant plants native to Georgia’s ecosystems. Wild Roots Native Nursery grows more than 300 species of Georgia-native plants, including perennials, sedges, grasses, shrubs, and trees. The founders collect seeds—ethically and locally—from wild populations across the state. The nursery’s core goal is to enable homeowners and community groups to restore habitats for pollinators, birds, and other wildlife while reducing invasive species in cultivated landscapes.
