Since that first season they have installed over 120 native plant gardens, cleared numerous acres of invasive species, and grown over 80,000 native plants that have put down their roots in SE Michigan soils.
Michigan Wildflower Farm was founded in 1988 and located in Portland. They are a producer of documented native Michigan genotype wildflower/grass/sedge seed, and supplier of Great Lakes Region native seed. They provide ecological landscaping services and on-the-farm educational workshops. Michigan Wildflower Farm is a working farm open by appointment only.
